Do
We have Control Over IQ?
IQ or Intelligence Quotient of the person depends
on many factors. Most of these factors are beyond
our direct control because many are there by design
and others which we may be able to control are not
in the control of the individual himself. If somehow
IQ of a child is to be developed parents may act
"just as catalyst" to the process.
As per researches conducted by psychologists
it has been established that IQ of a child
reaches its maturity by the age of 7 and then
onwards his IQ remains constant throughout her/his
life. Some psychologists believe that IQ can be
increased even after the age of 7 but it is not
yet an established fact and a debatable issue.
So for our understanding, at this point of time
we may believe that nothing much can be done with
our IQ. But that doesn't mean you can't improve
your memory, your recall, your presentation or
your speed of doing calculations. Of course, you
can!
The basis of all SARAL
Workshops is that "I can!"
